Uses | 2,6-Diaminopyridine can be used to synthesize pentamidine derivatives which show antitumor activities and DNA binding activities. It can also be used to synthesize N-monocarbamoyl derivatives of symmetrical diamines with antiviral activity. Its derivatives can be used as models of molecular sensor for nucleic acid base detection. |
