SP Sephadex C-50 is a cation exchange chromatography resin composed of cross-linked dextran beads functionalized with sulfopropyl (SP) groups. This modification imparts cation exchange properties to the resin, enabling it to selectively bind and separate biomolecules based on their net charge.
